Vehicle tracking systems fit in perfectly in the modern world. They are an extension of our hugely integrated electronic world which means we can communicate and be updated on all aspects of our daily and personal lives.

In a study done on vehicle tracking companies, more quotation requests were made in Yorkshire in the last 12 months than London. Businesses made quotation requests in Yorkshire than anywhere else in the country. London came second.

According to research 55% of companies now track their vans, cars and lorries with a GPS vehicle tracking system. This is because vehicle tracking helps them to run their businesses more efficiently. This is a big increase on research done by the same people almost 2 years ago.

A recent survey completed by Digicore in 2010 shows that 55% of HGV companies are using GPS tracking technology to run their fleets. This shows a significant rise since a survey conducted in 2008 which showed that only 25% of HGV firms were using GPS vehicle devices to run their fleets.
