CMS SupaTrak was awarded the IT innovation trophy at the GreenFleets Awards. This is the second year running that CMS SupaTrak have one this award.
CMS SupaTrak are a telematics business based Swindon which help their clients to gain visibility over their fleets, reduce costs, increase safety and reduce their fleets carbon footprint.
The GreenFleets awards were held at Emirates Stadium in London and were attended by 350 important people from the fleet industry. The idea behind the GreenFleets award is to promote the drive towards fleets with lower omissions.
The awards had a record number of entries which only goes to show the growing concentration and focus companies are having towards making their fleets more environmentally friendly.
CMS SupaTrak were awarded the trophy based on developments to their fleet management software, route tracking and other fleet related software solutions that can help to lower co2 omissions of a business vehicles.
The solution that one CMS SupaTrak the award is called EcoTrak. This monitors driving style, fuel consumption and MPG to ascertain the efficiency of the way each vehicle is being driven. If the vehicle is being driven inefficiently the driver can be informed live via a display installed within the cab of the vehicle.
