Confidence In Tracking Has Been Damaged In 2009

The tracking systems industry has had some big challenges to overcome in 2009. One of the biggest problems the industry has seen is a lack in confidence in actually buying tracking systems. This has been born of the fact that many tracking companies have gone out of business and the people who had tracking with them now have debts for tracking systems that have now been switched off.

The problem with tracking is it only works if the tracking company provides the service. The tracking devices in stalled in the vehicles are as good as useless without the airtime and the systems at the tracking company to support them.

To solve this problem tracking companies are now introducing alternative payment methods from the traditional payment methods available. One of the most popular of these is the pay as you go option. This has proved to be very successful in 2009 as it is a no risk proposition for the customer.

The only downside to the pay as you go payment method is that it makes vehicle tracking systems more expensive than they would be if you paid for it via a lease agreement.
