Cybit are now working with Volvo Construction Equipment Division. Volvo are using the Cybit Fleetstar solution to help them keep on top of their SLAs. Such agreements are often hard to adhere to and running a tight ship to keep to promises is a must.
Vehicle tracking systems will help Volvo to keep up their end of the bargain, while also helping them to solve a whole range of other logistical problems. These include recovery of stolen vans, keep on top of duty of care responsibilities and increase communication between management and their teams.
GPS tracking will help Volvo better serve their customers by enabling them to react too engineer call outs and organise their large fleet of vehicles so that engineers can easily be assigned to jobs that are nearest to them.
Volvo needed customisable reports to suit their SLAs. This was something the Cybit were able to provide Volvo Construction Equipment with a system that could do exactly that. Therefore Volvo and Cybit have entered into a three year contract with each other.
So far Volvo are very happy with how things have gone and have found the GPS tracking system a great help to their business.
