We all like to believe that our employees are working hard for our companies, but are they? It is much, much easier to monitor the staff that are office based. You are able to see what they are up to including the times that they arrive to work and leave of an evening. Those employees that are out and about, driving in company vehicles to meetings or making deliveries, do you know where they are or what they are doing and when they are doing it? Well now you can.
Vehicle tracking systems are able to monitor the vehicles that they are fitted in. They can be programmed to let the managers, or any staff authorised, know where their vehicles are at any one place in time. They are able to monitor the route that the drivers are taking and where the drivers are choosing to stop. The tracking system also reports on how long the vehicle is stationery for! So no more long lunches…
It is a good investment to make if you are unsure of the amount of time your employees are taking to get to a location or even if you are not convinced that they are on the road that much, maybe skiving off for 30 minutes here and there. Let’s face it the majority of employees will not object to the vehicle tracking system being fitted, you will however get one or two that object, these will be the employees that have things to hide.
