Farmers Use Vehicle Tracking
Farming these days is a hard business. There can be a lot of money to be made, but the farms have to be run incredibly efficiently and minimise losses as much as humanly possible.
One problem farmers face it the theft of farming equipment. This equipment is not only very expensive but also incredibly essential to their operations. If they do not have this equipment exactly when they need it, the cost to the business can be huge. Farming is a time critical business and farmers cannot afford to wait around for insurance claims to be completed and paid out on. If they need a piece of equipment then they need it right away.
GPS tracking can be used to solve this problem. Using GEO fencing boundaries can be set on any tracking equipment installed on any equipment so that if a piece of equipment leaves the location where it is meant to be the farmer will know straight away. The farmer will be alerted via his mobile or via a computer.
Vehicle tracking is a god send to farmers as the theft of farming equipment is on the rise. Much of this equipment is transported overseas to third world and developing countries where it can easily be sold without getting caught by the Police.
I have had so much of my euipment stolen over the years and i have finally decided to get myself some tracking units installed. I believe that people in my industry should all get one so we can fight this crime together
