The GPS vehicle tracking systems giant Quartix is going to use Google Maps on some of its pay as you go tracking services.
Google maps are a brilliant system which includes satellite and hybrid views. These will now be available on some of the Quartic systems. This is example of how Google is managing to branch out into so many areas.
Maps from Google will be used in conjunction with the tracking systems to work out the location of all the vehicles in the fleet as well as destinations and customer locations. This will help managers to make their operations much smoother than in the past.
Quartix are using Google maps because they are sophisticated and advanced and will lend well to a fully integrated grade A tracking system.
Quartix are often thinking of new ideas to advance themselves in the industry and this is just an example of their lateral thinking.
Such advances for tracking companies are essential to keeping them one step ahead of their competition. Tracking is a growing industry but companies competing in this field still need to be on the ball as there is always a competitor lurking around the corner waiting to steal your business.
