GPS Car Tracking System

Car tracking systems are used mainly for one of two reasons. The first and probably the most common use is to track company vehicles. This as we have discussed previously in this blog is all about improving the way the business is run so that profits can be increased. There are a few other reasons for companies installing GPS car tracking systems into their vehicles, but the main reason is down to profits.

The second reason for GPS car tracking systems is to increase security. This is also part of the first reason, as it helps to lower insurance premiums, but many individuals are now installing tracking in their personal vehicles. Why is this you may ask? Well the reason is simple. If you own an high priced car then insurance companies will more often than not insist on a tracking device be fitted to your motor vehicle. The reason being is that it increases the recovery rate if the car is stolen and therefore decreases the chances of the customer claiming on the insurance policy.

This means insurance companies can decrease claims which mean higher profits for the insurance company. As you can see it all comes back to money again.
