GPS Tracking Services

Any vehicle tracking system has to be supplied with the airtime via the GPS network and the GPRS network. If this airtime is not supplied to the vehicle tracking system, it will cease to work and therefore will be of no use. This is why if a vehicle tracking company goes bankrupt they will leave customers with a tracking device which is of no use. This is why many are now turning to pay as you go GPS tracking services. If the company goes bankrupt you are not left with a lease on a GPS tracking system which is of no use whatsoever.

GPS tracking needs airtime to work as the tracking system communicates with satellites in space to work out the location of the tracking device. Therefore if the company goes bankrupt they will no longer be supplied the communication with the satellites.

Vehicle tracking is becoming more and more popular every month and as it does the prices are dropping. This is great as it means the technology is more accessible to even more people and businesses. The down side to this is that it makes it more viable for governments to make vehicle tracking compulsory on all vehicles.
