There are tracking systems available which you can have fitted to your car to enable you to keep track of everyone that drives your car. It will tell you how fast they are going, how far they have travelled and will also tell you if the car is being driven when you or any of your authorised drivers are in the driving seat. The tracking system will text you these details to your phone.
Chrysler has recently introduced this to their Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge models in the USA. You have to pay for the system and the cost is $459 about £284 for the bottom of the range vehicle tracking model. You also have to pay a annual subscription for the tracking system which costs $149 about £92. These prices are very similar to similar systems available in the UK.
Chrysler have not yet launched the tracking system in the UK, but if it is a success in the States then there is no doubt they will do as it is a great up sell.
You can get anti theft tracking systems in the UK which for a Thatcham approved one start at around £170.
