Many Features Available – Part 1

There are simply so many features available for vehicle tracking. Many features are only of benefit to particular industries or businesses, such as HGV Highway Information.

HGV Highway Information gives information on road restrictions that only affect trucks and large vehicles. These can include weight restrictions, low bridges and width restrictions.

There are many other features available and some of these are:

Driver scheduling which is a very useful feature helping drivers to keep on top of their daily activities and avoid missing appointments while on the road.

European tracking is for vehicles travelling around Europe on a frequent basis. It gives vehicles the mapping services they require as well as tracking throughout Europe.

Geofencing which we have discussed on this blog before is a great system for monitoring journeys to and from client destinations and other predefined locations.

Insurance approved is less of a feature and more just that the tracking is Thatcham Approved so that it can help to lower insurance premiums for people with expensive motor vehicles. Some insurance companies will insist on anti theft tracking being fitted on vehicles which are very expensive.

See our post tomorrow when we discuss further features available with GPS vehicle tracking systems.
