Quartix Launch New Speed Monitoring Service For PAYG Customers

Quartix have a feature which has proved very popular with their contract customers. This feature uses colour coded icons on the maps to show how fast a vehicle is going or indeed if it is stopped. This data is also stored so that it can be viewed at a later date.

This feature was previously only available to customers who paid for their GPS vehicle tracking system via a contract.

Now Quartix have decided to make this feature available to pay as you go customers or PAYG for short. It shows that Quartix are putting more into the pay as you go market as they see this as the future of vehicle tracking. This is based on the fact that 67% of Quartix’s sales are now sold on pay as you go basis.

This number is expected to rise a great deal in 2010. In fact Quartix have even said that they suspect that it will rise to around about 80% of sales in 2010. This estimation is due to the fact that companies these days do not want to risk being tied into long contracts. It’s too risky and many businesses have had their fingers burnt.

Therefore PAYG is the future and therefore you can expect PAYG customers to receive the same level of features as contract customers as things go forward.
