Some Tracking Systems Do Not Update That Frequently

Many tracking systems by some of the more established names in the business are starting to get behind the times. Navman tracking systems for example only update every 10 minutes, which is a lot less frequently than tracking systems by many of the smaller companies in the business.

Update frequency that happens as little as this will have the following downsides to it. For example, if your vehicle visits a customer but is only there for 5 minutes then it may not update whilst at this customers address. This will mean that the system will have not recorded the visit to this customer. If this customer then complains at a later date you will not be able to use the tracking system to prove they did make the visit.

Sometimes really cheap tracking systems will also have much less frequent updates. In this day and age you should not be fobbed off with a tracking system which gives such infrequent updates. With cheaper air time and a highly competitive vehicle tracking market you should be able to find a tracking system at a good price but with all the features and frequent update that you need.
