Trafficmaster have just released a brand new vehicle tracking management system onto the market. The new vehicle tracking system is entitled Fleet Director 8.2 and is believed to be by many an industry leading system.
The new vehicle tracking system has improved driver behaviour monitoring and reporting to help increase the scoring of individual drivers performance in this area.
They have improved the system by not only adding standard speeding reporting, but in addition to this they have broken it down into two indicators; speeding miles and severe speeding miles.
They have also included other indicators such as harsh braking monitoring and harsh acceleration monitoring. But where the new system really comes into its own is with the new improved bad cornering monitoring.
Fleet Director 8.2 is designed to help lower the costs of running your fleet even more than ever before and to help keep your fleet as safe and sound as humanly possible. The belief is that if the company vehicles are driven in a safer more controlled way, they will also be driven more economically and save the company money in fuel, maintenance and accident repairs.
The new Fleet Director 8.2 also includes new improved dashboard display technology to help increase the communication and vehicle information to the driver.
