Vehicle tracking will grow so much in the next two years that by 2012 it is thought by most that will have doubled. This is fantastic news for the tracking industry and indeed for the businesses that take up tracking, but the tracking enterprises will have to work hard.
While there is a desire for GPS vehicle tracking systems there is also a lack of confidence in the telematics industry and many businesses are much more careful before they enter into a vehicle tracking contract. These days most companies will not be quick to launch into a tracking contract and will be a lot more careful about who they choose. For vehicle tracking companies this means that they will have to work a lot harder to win the confidence of potential customers and therefore make the sale.
There is also much more competition in the tracking market which has been a big part of reason for the decrease in prices. This added competition has meant a bigger choice of products and features. Also as we have discussed previously on this blog there are far more payment options than there has ever been for tracking.
These are all great things for the customer and things can only get better as tracking companies battle it out to win the contracts.
