This survey was done on several vehicle tracking companies in the UK who gave a report on several of the main aspects of vehicle tracking sales leads. One of these aspects was which county the company making the lead came from.
Lancashire is a very industrial area and encompasses such towns as Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Chorley and Darwen. It is also right next to Liverpool and Manchester. It has a lot of wholesale, manufacturing, distribution and haulage firms in the area. For this reason there is a large desire for vehicle tracking systems. Lancashire has a population of 1,449,000 and is the 8th biggest populated county in the country.
Many of the enquiries for vehicle tracking in this area have been for lorries and vans for small and medium sized businesses with a need to distribute their products via their own fleet of vehicles.
