Surrey is the 6th biggest source of vehicle tracking leads according to a survey done tracking suppliers. Yorkshire and London were the top two counties for showing interest in vehicle tracking and these are also in the top three richest counties in the UK.
Surrey, as well as being the 6th most interested in GPS vehicle tracking is also the 5th richest county in the UK. This trend of counties being well off and being interested in vehicle tracking does not always follow, but appears to have a lot to do with it.
Where there is wealth there is business and trading and where there is business, there is a desire for GPS vehicle tracking. The county has a fair number of distribution companies because it has the M25 going through it. The M25 has connections to most of the major motorways in the UK and is an ideal motorway to be located near if you distribute products throughout the UK.
Distributions firms often have their own fleets of vehicle which they can benefit from tracking.
