Vehicle Tracking Payment Options
There are several ways of paying for a vehicle tracking system so you should be able to find a payment method that suits you.
The first option is to pay outright for the tracking system. If you can afford to do this then you will benefit from cheaper deals on offer to you.
The next payment method which has long been the preferred method is leasing. The advantage of this type of tracking system is that it enables you to get your vehicles equipped with a fully integrated GPS vehicle tracking system for a monthly payment with no or little initial outlay. Businesses can see the benefits and cost savings of vehicle tracking straight away as they have not laid out the money in advance.
The problem with leasing now is that it is much harder to obtain than it was 18 months ago. Therefore some new payment methods have been introduced onto the market to replace the lease option for those businesses that are unable to get accepted for a lease. These alternative payment methods include pay as you go tracking and rental schemes. They tend to be a little more expensive in the long run, but as well as being easy to obtain they are also risk free. If the tracking company goes bankrupt then you are not left with debt for a system that is no longer turned on. Also if you are indeed in a position where your business is unable to afford the system you can cancel at anytime.
The outright and lease payment options do not have the benefit of being risk free although they are a more cost effective payment method.
